"Good. Come with me." Lucien showed her where he had entered the room, holding her hand tightly so she wouldn’t try to escape.

Angelica tried pulling her hand away, but was unable to due to Luciens strong grasp. “Hmph. This better be worth it.” She growled.

Lucien squeezed her hand tightly.

Angelica grimaced. “Where exactly are we going?” She asked.

"A place that you’ve never seen." He looked at her with his charcoal eyes. "And if anyone asks, it doesn’t exist. Come." He released her and beckoned to the car. "I can't hold your hand everywhere. You can’t run far, because I will catch you again." His eyes gleamed.

“Hmph, there goes that idea.” She thought to herself. Angelica walked to the car and hesitated before stepping in.

Lucien shrugged. "You're free to do whatever floats your boat—except for running away, that is." He smiled crudely and hopped in the front seat.

“So, I can ruin your car?” She asked with an evil little grin on her face.

"Yep," Lucien replied amiably. "Wait—what?"

“Thanks for the permission.” She said. Angelica started poking holes in the seats of the car with a pencil she had found in her pocket.

"Oh, brother." Lucien rolled his eyes, but he didn’t tell her to stop.

Angelica frowned upon his reaction. Hoping that he would get tired of her, she began talking about many things at once, hoping he would get annoyed. She stopped once she realized that he would probably kill her if she annoyed him.

As if to reinforce what she was thinking, Lucien cocked his gun and sighed.

She yelled and shielded her face. “Please don’t kill me!” She squeaked.
