Wren heard him speak an odd language that she didn't understand and brushed her fingers on the chains, her brows furrowed. She gently bent down and lifted him up, trying not to fall down again. "I'm not going to hurt you. I'm going to take you somewhere safe, so I can see what's wrong. Okay?"
-
Sgrios weakly struggled against her, clearly out of his mind with fear and pain as he babbled out pleas. He was shaking badly in her hold, his long tail curling tightky around himself
-
Wren tore through the woods, her feet flying nimbly around roots and undergrowth as she clutched one hand around her staff, the other holding onto Sgrios. She wanted to say something to comfort him, but she was at a loss of words. Her lungs were burning, but the house was within sight. Her dog, Misty, was already waiting for her, as was the stray cat that often drifted by for handouts.
-
Sgrios made a pained sound as he was jostled, but appeared to be quieting down. He had stopped struggling, and was now hanging limp in her grip, trembling
-
Wren practically kicked the door down, wincing as the house echoed with a loud bang. "Sorry!" she whimpered, setting him down on her pristine couch. Her childhood training as a medic had trained her for some cuts and bruises, yes, but this was something that she was sort of lost at. She summoned some bandages and in her hurry, the package hit her in the back of the head.
-
Sgrios flinched violently at the bang, his bloodied sightless eyes wide as he searched for the source in terror, shaking hard enough that the chains jingled
-
Wren trembled, terrified that she would hurt him. She took a wet cloth and gently dabbed around the edges of his eyes, wiping away the blood. She lightly set a blanket on top of him. She was worried that if she wrapped him up, he would freak out and think that he was trapped.
-
Sgrios jerked away from her touch in alarm, blindly lashing out with his claws in a feable attempt to protect himself against the unknown threat
-

Sorry <:0))
Wren flinched away. "Woah there! Relax, I'm just trying to help you. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have just left you there." She squeezed some ointment onto a handful of bandages. "Now this might hurt, but trust me, it'll be better for you." -
Sgrios cowered down in fear, pressing himself into the couch as he hissed in her general direction out of fear, missing some teeth. His tail tightened around his torso as he felt a pang of pain from his core, making a choked noise as dark blood dripped free from his mouth
-
Wren steeled her nerves and wrapped the bandages around his eyes. The white cotton soaked up the thick blood, blossoming on its surface like some twisted flower. She sat him up so he wouldn't suffocate in the blood. Misty whimpered and dove under the couch cushions.
-
Sgrios whimpered in pain when she wrapped the bandages over his eyes, starting to calm down a little as he ran out of energy. He flinched when he heard Misty, making another weak noise before starting to cough
-
"Do you want some...water?" Wren said, trying to get rid of the chains, still at a loss of what to do. "Because I could get you a glass of water."
-
Sgrios kept flinching at every noise and touch, still terrified. One tattered ear twitched forward when he heard her speaking, but he couldn't understand what she was saying through the fog of fear and pain. He underatood her tone though, and made a low kreening sound in response
