“Perhaps it will go away in a few days once this is all over.” Axel said. He got into the car and started it up.

"And maybe not," Rasia murmured. "What if I'm always like this?"

Axel bit his lip. “Get a therapist? I don’t know what to do in this type of situation.” He muttered.

She nodded. "It's a good idea," she said. "But then I'd have to tell them about you, and how I never called the police, and then they'd probably call the police."

“I could get rid of them before they try anything.” Axel said. The truck started moving and soon they were out of the driveway.

"Don't," Rasia shuddered. "That just adds to everything."

“True. I’ll have to be your therapist then.” He said.

She looked at him. "You?"

Axel coughed nervously. “Or I could hire a therapist.” He muttered.

Callyn looked away. "I don't know..." she said.

“Or we could just get married and you would have to stay with me for the rest of your life.” He said without thinking of what the effect might be.

Rasia's head whipped towards him, her face carrying shock and confusion.

“It’s a joke. Chill.” Axel said with a laugh.

"I'm never sure if it's a joke with you or not," she muttered and rested her head on her hand

“If I laugh, it’s a joke. If I don’t laugh, it’s probably another joke.” He said.
