Kerala patted her hand around in the air until she found the chair, pulling it under her and sitting down. She only just realized how disheveled she looked. When was the last time she'd showered? She could've sworn she'd showered recently, but now she was questioning everything. Like whether her sketch of that dragon would come to life. She prayed that it wouldn't.
"Do you want something to eat?" she asked, her voice a little faint. -
"I've never eaten anything," Seamus thought aloud. "I'm sure I'd like to try the new experience."
-
Kerala nodded and got up to get him some food, screaming when she almost stepped on another frog. She tossed it unceremoniously out of the door where it landed in the grass with a rather nasty plop, glaring at her with huge beady eyes. She shuddered and wiped her hands on her jeans, getting some cheese and crackers and returning to her bedroom.
"I know it's not much," Kerala said, handing him the plate shyly. "But I wanted to be quick about it and those nasty frogs are everywhere." -
"Don't worry about it, I don't expect to be given a banquet, or anything," Seamus said as he took the plate.
-
Kerala took a seat on the chair again, trying to get a grip on the situation. "How do you feel?" she asked in curiosity.
-
"Normal?" Seamus said. "I don't know how normal would normally feel, but this certainly does. I have to say I'm utterly bewildered, though."
-
"That's understandable," Kerala said with a nervous laugh to get most of the jitters out of her system. "So, um, why don't you tell me about yourself? Like your favorite color,"
-
Seamus thought for a moment. "Probably a darker blue," he said.
-
Kerala could barely breathe. "Wow, that's...that's really cool. Do you want to sit down, or...what? What do you want to do?"
-
"What is there to do?" Seamus asked. "You're the expert, not me. I just know what I had seen from my paper."
-
"So you saw me through the paper?" she said in horror, instantly rehashing all the things she had done in front of it.
-
"Is that a bad thing?" Seamus asked as he sat down, crossing one leg over the other.
-
"It does depend on how much you saw," Kerala said, ruffling her hair and mimicking him unconsciously.
-
"Let's just say I'd recommend keeping your drawings in a binder, or something," Seamus said with a sly smile.
-
Kerala buried her face in her hands, her ears going red. "Ughhh…is it just you or can ALL my drawings see me?"
