Turner gave a playful gasp. “What if we were a couple and we didn't know it yet?” He said.

Callyn gave a small smile. "Look, with how many people I've seen think they were in a relationship when they were only being played, I'll know if I'm in a relationship or not. Like, the guy is going to actually ask me to be his girlfriend, or something."

Turner nodded his head and took notes in his head. “What would you do if someone asked you to be their girlfriend?” He asked.

"Honestly I don't know," she said, as she moved her chin to rest on her hand. "I've never been in a romantic relationship. No one's liked me enough to ask me, and all my life I've never expected anything different."

Turner messed around with a coin he had in his pocket. “Would you say yes if I asked you?” He asked.

(What if after he's rejected by her his dad tries to poison his mind against her)
Callyn jerked her head to look at him. After a moment she said. "I don't know." -
(Yes :0)
Turner blushed. “Don’t get any idea’s.” He mumbled. -
(And I don't know if you want to do just enough that it plants a seed of doubt in him and it leads to something bigger?)
"Don't worry about it," she said. "Oh, I was going to show you Mamita's lie-detecting thingy."
"He's already gotten a dose of it," Mamita said. she set Callyn's and Turner's food on the table in front of them. She looked at Turner. "A cook does not appreciate her kitchen being invaded." -
(YES! DEFINITELY YES!! :00)
Turner rolled his eyes. “You know what really happened Mrs. Mamita.” He said, sticking his fork into the food and shoving it in his mouth. -
"'Course she does," Callyn said. Then in a sillyish ghosty voice she said, "ShE kNoWs EvErYtHiNg."

Turner smirked. “I bet she can’t know what’s on my mind right now.” He said, gazing lovingly at Callyn.

"My abilities don't go that far, but I have a pretty good idea," Mamita said. She left the table.

Turner took a bite of his food. He would stare at Callyn every few seconds, then quickly look away.
“So, Who was that little girl you were with?” Turner asked. -
"Rosa? She's Carlos' daughter," she answered.

“He has a daughter? What a surprise, for a second there I thought you had a younger sibling.” He said.
