Callyn set down her fork and brought her hand into her lap. She was visibly tenser than before. "He...He was a player. But I didn't know. He'd say and do these sweet things that made me think he actually cared. He had my whole heart.
But I caught him with another girl. He told me that I should have expected it. He asked me how long I really thought a guy would be interested in a girl like me." -
Turner's face was red with anger.
How could someone be so heartless?
"Do you have his location? I can send in some heartbreakers to tear his heart to pieces.” Turner asked. -
"No, Turner, I want to show him that he doesn't affect me anymore," Callyn said. Even though he did. The horrible things he had told her still affected her.

“Your face says otherwise.” Turner said, his face full of concern.

"Look, I don't want to do anything about it, ok?" Callyn said.

Turner raised his hands and nodded.

Callyn sighed and quickly finished her food.

“Do you want to go somewhere fun after this?” Turner asked.

"Like what?" Callyn asked.

"Like somewhere fun."

"Like where?" Callyn asked, a smile beginning to grow on her face.

"Like somewhere fun.” Turner repeated.

"You're really making me choose," Callyn laughed. "The thing is I can't really think of somewhere that someone in my condition would be able to go to, besides a movie theater, but we already watched a movie today."

"We could go to the,” Turner lowered his voice and leaned in to Callyn. "...tree.”
