“Fine, fine. Now I have to get ready for the day again.” She groaned as she went back to her bedroom.

"You're welcome," Henry said as he finished his meal.

Jewel rolled her eyes as she came back again, this time ready for the day. She ate her oatmeal and took the bowl to the sink. “When do we start training?” She asked.

"Soon," Henry answered

She turned to Adrian. “Date first and then training?” She asked.

"No, the date is tonight, remember?" Adrian said. "Training first."

“Dang it.” Jewel groaned.

"Don't worry, we're probably just going to be working on how to control your powers," Henry said. "That way you have them on hand when you need them and not when you don't. Don't want to freeze Adrian again, do we?"

“You heard about that?” Jewel said.

Henry nodded. "C'mon, let's go," he said, getting up from the table.

Jewel followed Henry.

Henry led her to a pretty bare-looking room. "So so far it's just ice, right?" he asked.

“Yep, just ice. Ice here ice there, ice everywhere.” She said, glancing around the room.

"Okay," Henry said. He held up a small object. "Freeze this, but not my hand. We want a little ice statue."

Jewel took a deep breath and concentrated on the object. Instead of the object getting frozen, she froze Henry’s hand.
“Oops, well its technically frozen.” She said with an apologetic smile.
