"We all are in the morning," Adrian said. "Except Kenril. He's the early bird around here."

“I can tell.” Jewel said, taking a glance at Kendil.

"You're an early bird too," Adrian said.

“What makes you think that?” She asked through narrowed eyes.

"I've lived with you for a month," Adrian said. "You're always the one to wake me up."

“That doesn’t mean anything. Maybe I was excited to see you in the mornings.” Jewel said.

"For a whole month?"

“Well maybe I really like you!” She said blushing.

"You're still an early bird," Adrian said.

“Am not!” Jewel said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Prove it," Adrian said.

Jewel bit her lip. “I’ll be right back.” She said, getting up from the table and going to her room.
She messed up her hair, put on pajama’s, and used makeup to make bags under her eyes. She went back into the Dining room.
“Am not.” She said. -
Adrian laughed. "I have to give you props for playing dress-up," he said. "You'll prove it by going to bed late tonight and then you wake up when your body naturally tells you to."
