Kai sits at the seats nearby and sets his book and phone down.

Nixie gave him a plate of cookies "so what classes do ya got?" She asked curiously -
“Thank you.” He said, taking one. “I think I have English or something around that.”

"Thats neat" Nixie said as she ate a cookie "i think the first class ive got is math" she said with a mildly annoyed look -
Kai scrunches his nose. “Bleh, math.” He said.

"Its not even something cool like trig" she grumped

Kai nodded. Out of nowhere, a ding is heard from his phone. Kai goes slightly pale. Not now! He thought.

Nixie blinked at tge ding but didnt ask. She may be an idiot but shea not nosy

Kai grabs his phone, looking at the message. He needed to meet his ‘leader’ in a back alley nearby. He grabbed his bag, shoving his stuff inside. “I-uh-need to go.” He said, trying to sound casual.

"Ok!" Nixie chirped "you have a key for the dorm right?

He nodded, making a little saluting sign with his fingers as if saying bye, and opening the door. Inside his head, he was still slightly mad and worried.

Nixie nodded and walked over to her bed, flopping down and grabbing her phone

Kai took a deep breath, changing his expression to neutral. He ran as quickly as possible towards the nearest alley, finding his boss. “Took you long enough, Storm. Change your appearance before we get into business.” They said, glaring at him.

Nixie scrolled through the internet looking at memes, quickly getting bored
