Kai walks back into the kitchen, seeing Nixie gone. He turns his head, looking around.

Nixie found a towel in the bathroom and dried her hands, hanging it back up before leaving. She then walked over to her bed, remembering to duck under the fan this time, and sat down, picking up a discarded sketch pad

Kai searches for his roommate, finding her in the bedroom. “Oh, you came in here.” He says, leaning on the door frame.

Nixie gave him an amused look "what think i left ya alone?" She said as she picked up a pencil and crossed her legs, setting her sketch pad in her pal

He shrugged. “You don’t seem like the kind of person who’d do that.” He replied, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.

Nixie just grinned at him "if ya think so" she said in amusment

Kai rolled his eyes, smiling. He then walked over to his bed, pulling out a book and flipping through it.

Nixie started drawing something, grabbing her phone to pull up some refrence pictures

He grabs his bag and dumps out a bunch of notepads and folders. He wanted to study a bit before looking for a mission again.

After abit the timer for the cookies went off and Nixie got up, walking to the oven and opening it. She almost grabbed the hot pan with her bare hand, but stopped and contemplated on that decision for a moment. She realised that she had forgotten an oven mit, and grabbed one before getting the cookies out of the oven

Kai couldn’t help but perk up a bit at the noise. Don’t get distracted. He thought, shaking his head and writing down more equations to practice.

Nixie set the cookies on the counter and turned everything off "ok cookies are done!" She chirped to her roommate

Kai walked over to the kitchen. “Oooo, those look good.” He said to Nixie.

Nixie smiled brightly "why thank you!" She said cheerfully
