"When it shimmers, we're scared or have a high heart rate, though it also shimmers in high sunlight. When it glows, we are usually hurt and it heals us within minutes, no matter the injury. If it glows red, we regain or gain more strength in a tight situation. If it flashes green, we're out of energy and can't do anything until color returns to normal. When it flashes yellow, we get a speed boost but uses all our energy within moments. If it glows white, we just need a light in a dark place. Both metaphorically and in reality." Mysticka explained.

"I'm not a bug though." She said, exasperated. "I'm a wolf. If you didn't notice. Oh, and the Hunters think that if they kill me, my pelt's powers will still work. Ha, nope."

Her pelt was flashing green, as it had been when she had stopped running. "As you can see, I'm out of energy. I should rest."

"If you want, i can keep an wye out while you rest" he said

"You would do that?" She explained, surprised.

She smiled thankfully, and laid down. After a few hours, her pelt glowed green instead of blinking. She was only half-asleep, and knew she needed a few more hours of rest.
