Suddenly Amelia heard cheering. Then chanting. "Last Task! Last Task! Last Task!" Orange was leading the others triumphantly to Sheilds. Amelia got up and followed them with a small smile on her face. They'd be able to go home now. But everything was still so wrong.

He listened to the cheering with a sad smile. At least they were happy. At least they could go home to their families, unlike him.
Also except for the ones you killed... -
Amelia watched as Orange struggled to figure out which hexagons to fix. After like five minutes he finally finished. Amelia gave a half-hearted, "Whoo!" She went over to Admin to tell Levi they'd be going home soon.

He then flinched.
Slowly, but steadily, he slipped off his backpack, and opened the flap. -
Amelia walked down the corridor and into storage, took a right, and then another right into Admin.

He glanced over to his side as he spotted Amelia coming into Admin. Confused, once again, he pretended he hadn't noticed her.

"The last task is done," Amelia said. "We're finally going home."

"Thanks for letting me know..." He mumbled, refusing to make any eye contact.

"Aren't you going to come to the shuttles?" Amelia asked. Didn't he want to get off of this ship as badly as she did?

"No," He heaved. "You can go. I'm staying here."

"What?" Amelia said, not believing her ears. "Why?"

He glanced at her eye-to-eye. "I can't leave the Skeld." He then paused for a long moment. "I don't have anyone to go home to. I have good memories here, while I have heartbreaking memories I would love to forget on Earth."

"Then we'll make new ones," Amelia said. "We'll make new ones together."

He shook his head slowly. "It wouldn't be the same. I can't forget the memories." -
"Please, Levi, I - I couldn't bear it," she said. She tried imagining living her life without him and she just couldn't. She started tearing up.
