Griffin whipped around to look at the door

The Ringmaster opened the door a few seconds later "just came to check up one yo- why is its muzzle off?" The man asked warily as Azale snarled at him, embers falling from between his bared fangs

"calm down Mr ringmaster man, he ain't gonna work real well if he has ta wear the muzzle." Griffin said

"I-if you say so" the man said, clearly spooked as he backed out the door "I'll uh. Leave you t-too it then" he said before shutting the door.
"Coward" Azale hissed, but appeared to be amused by the humans fear -

"it's kinda funny how they're scared of ya." Griffin said

"It is only natural to fear your predators" he purred

"so you eat humans?" Griffin asked

"Of course~. We Grimmkin are born from the ashes of fallen kingdoms after all" he rumbled softly

"oh, well please don't eat me." Griffin said

"I won't, your entertaining." Azale purred

"that's settled then, how great." Griffin said smiling

Azale flicked his tail in amusement, tucking his wings around himself

"so what Mr. Grimm child?" Griffin asked
