"Wow. What's it like?" Alastair asked.

"Hectic," Rebecca said.
(Me trying to see things from my sister's standpoint since I'm the oldest) -

"It sounds fun," Alastair said with a laugh. "What do you guys do together?" -
"Depends on the day, really," Rebecca said.

"What do you do the most then?" Alastair specified.

"Depends on the hour," Rebecca said. "There's really a lot of factors to consider here."

"A lot of things depend on other things for you, hmm?" Alastair concluded.

"You have no idea," Rebecca said.

"Sounds fun," Alastair said. "Let's say...one o'clock. What do you do then?"

"Usually just chores around the house," Rebecca said. "I'm usually the only one home."

Alastair took note of that. "And when everyone comes home?"

"Well, my oldest sister moved away awhile ago," Rebecca said. "My older brother is a lazy bum, and my parents are usually too tired from work to do anything much.

Alastair felt like Rebecca was the type that wouldn't want his pity or his help, but he felt bad about it. "That doesn't sound too good. Maybe I could find your brother a job and give him a "man talk"?"

Rebecca laughed. "He could use some of that."
