(This is a character I will be introducing in a few responses or so. Here's her main reference image, and then a set of doodles! I got her from the same artist that I got Harper from.)
Harper made a strange expression. "That's really fascinating. I've never heard of anybody getting their Sight so.. Late." -
"You make it sound like it's a bad thing," Vivian said as she took another bite.

Harper shook one of his hands side to side. "Kinda? I mean, I just think it's strange that I'm your first sighting!"

"I'm guessing you don't get that honor often," Vivian said. She took the last bite and walked to a nearby garbage can. After disposing of her plate she returned to the bench and sat back down.

Harper grinned. "You're one of the first non-magical people to see me. It's pretty cool, really."
Someone was approaching the bench from behind, carefully weaving through the crowd to avoid being seen. -
(I saw them. It's really good)
"Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," Vivian said with a smile. -
(Oh okay, good! I had errors trying to link something else, so I wanted to make sure it worked.)
"Thanks. How about you? Are you enjoying yourself?" Harper was totally oblivious to the hooded stranger behind them.
Nox knelt down behind the bench. Her furred hand shot out, snatching Harper's money pouch right out of his pocket. -
"I really am," Vivian said. She thought she saw some sharp movement behind her and peered over the back of the bench. She nearly fell off the bench at the sight of another magical creature. "Who're you?" she asked.

Nox froze, looking up at Vivian with wide eyes. The hood of her coat moved in the breeze, revealing her face just enough; Vivian would certainly be able to tell that she was some kind of a cat person.
Harper turned to face Nox. His smile faded when he saw his pouch in her hands. "You thief," he said, trying to reach over the bench and snatch his pouch back.
Nox quickly scrambled back, falling backwards just out of his reach. -
"What on earth..." Vivian said. She shook her head. "I feel like I'm getting delusional."

Harper quickly rose from the bench, panicking a little as he tried to figure out what to do. He hurriedly set his plate down where he had been sitting. "Can you help me catch that thief? Please?"

Vivian nodded and got up as well. The two of them rushed in the direction of the cat-lady. -
