"No, it sounds fun!" Terri protested. "I want to go on a date someday."

Melissa looked at the floor. “...Would you want to go on a date with me someday?” She blurted out loud, blushing more.

"Yes, of course!" Terri said almost instantly, before realizing how over eager she sounded. "I mean, yeah, sure."

Melissa giggled at her silliness. “Tsundere.” She said in a playful voice.

Terri laughed. "Did you just call me a Tsundere?"

Melissa grinned like an idiot, grabbing her pillow and hiding behind it. “Maybe!” She said, her voice muffled.

Terri smacked Melissa's pillow lightly with another pillow, a playful expression on her face. "Two can play that game. Baka!"

Melissa squeaks at the force and falls backwards onto the bed. “I’ll get you back for that!” She grabs her pillow and hits Terri’s head, giggling.

"Oof!" Terri said from the impact. "Oh, you're gonna get it!"
She swung the pillow around and smacked Melissa's legs. -
“Eekkk!” She piped, letting herself fall onto the bed again.
Zane looked at the shipping bird. “This is fun to watch.” He purred. -
Terri laughed, shaking her pillow in the air. "I am victorious!" she crowed.
The shipping bird cooed in an amused tone. "Darn right, it is. I messed up before and I'm not messing up again." -
Melissa grabbed Terri’s arm and pulled her onto the bed right next to her. “Ha! I gotcha!” She laughed, lightly hitting her with the pillow again.

"Augh!" Terri exclaimed, as she fell down onto the bed. She gently smecked Melissa in protest.

“Okay, now we’re even!” Melissa continued laughing, deflecting the hit with her arms. She looked at the clock nearby to see what time it was.

Terri felt a warm feeling in her chest, happier than ever.
The shipping bird shuffled its wings, glancing over at Zane. "How long has Melissa been your human?"
