"No," Kenna said., holding Ander's hand. "I'm not going to give in to curiosity. I don't want anything to do with him."

"Then it's settled," Ander said with a nod. "Lilac, would you care to do the honors?"
"With pleasure," Lilac said, dragging the clone out. -
Kenna watched as Lilac dragged the clone away. The problem was that her curiosity was strong. Curiosity wanted something to do with him. Curiosity wanted to find out. Who was this infamous man? Where had he been her entire life? Why had he and his wife abandoned her?
No.
But you want to know! Curiosity protested.
I said no, that means it's not happening.
Kenna finally realized that there was someone on the kitchen table. "Ok, can we get this girl off the table and untie her or is that not such a smart idea?" she asked. -
"As far as I know, she's on Linnus' side, so she'd probably try to murder us all," Ander said. "But Lilac wouldn't leave her."
"I know plenty of things that make me very, very valuable," Iris said haughtily. "But I only work for pay, as Linnus knows." -
"And I'm sure they'd pay you grandly for killing us," Kenna muttered.
"As soon as Lilac gets back we should go," Kenna said. "They'll know where we are, won't they?" -
"Probably," Ander said. "Although they're probably a little distracted by the kill code taking down their systems."
"Well yes," Iris admitted. "But I know lots of juicy little tidbits that I'm sure you two would love to hear." -
"We want to get a heads start, at least," Kenna told him. "But where would we go?"

"I don't know," Ander said. He heard a heavy pounding on the door and jumped. Iris looked excited.

Kenna was startled by the pounding on the door. The only person it could be was Lilac, unless it wasn't.

Regal stamped the door down, tossing his head dramatically. Ander ran over to his stallion, patting him rewardingly. Iris huffed, disappointed.

Kenna put her face down on the table laughing. "How did he know to come?" she asked, raising her head off the table. "Or was he just lonely?"

"I don't know," Ander said, smiling. "He must have been looking for me."
Regal nudged his face against Ander's, happy to see his owner again. Crypta patted Regal tentatively as Lilac came back in.
"Could someone please explain why there's a horse in the house?" Lilac said. -
"He's Ander's," Kenna answered her. She reached up and rubbed Regal on the neck

"Okay," Lilac said, patting Regal's back and walking back over to the table. "I mean, horses are nice and all, but I think they belong in stables."
"It's not like that, Lilac," Ander said with a laugh. "This isn't going to be a permanent thing."
