Forgot this-))
Camryn turned her head side to side, trying to determine where in Violet's house she was. Finally, she saw something that she recognized. A picture of Violet's parents hung on the wall. -
What room is she in?))
Violet stepped into the hallway and peered around. No Camryn. Next room, no Camryn. The next, nope. And the next, not a single person in sight.
Violet felt goosebumps rise along her arms and legs, she was alone in this freaky house (which was her own), and Camryn was missing. -
Violet’s parents’ room))
Camryn heard doors shutting somewhere in the house and she hoped with all her might that it was Violet. She struggled again under the cold weight of metal, but to no avail. -
-
Ack, sorry for the late response!))
Violet passed each room, except for her parent’s. On a daily basis, she didn’t go in their room. Mainly because she might get in trouble if she did.
Creeping into the room, she reached for the nearest light switch- only to remember the electricity was also out. “Camryn?” She hissed, “CAMRYN? If you’re in here, make some sort of a sound.” -
Camryn heard Violet's voice and struggled wildly against the purple-eyed assilant. It's eyes disappeared as it turned its head towards Violet's voice, and suddenly the weight disappeared altogether. Camryn sat up and scrambled backwards in case it came back.
"It's...gone..." Camryn whispered wonderingly. -
Violet saw her friend and ran over to her, giving her a big hug.
“If that was a prank, I’ll be extremely angry.” She warned, frowning as she tilted her head slightly, “What took you?” -
"I-I-I-" Camryn stuttered. She took a deep breath and began again. "I don't know. But it had the same eyes that the air conditioner screen had. And-" she paused. "It was cold. Like metal."
-
-
“That’s it, you’re jumping off the balcony first. The mattress is still there, or we could jump at the same time.” Violet said, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked around her parents room, “Huh, I’ve really never been in here before.”
-
Camryn shrugged. "Well, if we escape, there'll be plenty of time for you to explore it. When the house isn't trying to kill you!"
She stepped back, away from the room, and walked down the hallway into Violet's room. She pulled the handle of the balcony door, but it didn't budge. She groaned and kicked the door.
Suddenly, the entire house rumbled. Huge sheets of metal slid out of the wood, seeming to come out of thin air. The metal slid over all the windows and clicked into place. "What just-" Camryn breathed. -
“Oh, great. We’re trapped now.” Violet said dully, kicking at the door hopelessly.
“Well, I think my dad has a few old baseball bats, we could try and take out some of those creepy devices.” -
Camryn nodded, then realized that Violet couldn't see her. "Okay," she said. "Where are they?" She glanced around the pitch black room, trying to find a difference in light.
-
“In the hallways closet, I get stuff from there all the time. I know exactly where it is, light or no light.” Violet took Camryn’s hand and led her down the hallway, feeling around for the door knob.
