Alrighty!!
Love his outfits -
(Okay, scenario. Annabel should be getting home from school and Markus is getting briefed on what he is supposed to do when he gets to Earth.)
Markus stood at attention as the Captain of the Knights of Terina, his father, told him about the mission he was to undertake. The Captain said "Markus, you have been given a task that you must succeed at. You must travel to Earth and find the princess. It is her time to take the throne and fight the approaching darkness of Dikaidus and his demons. She will need training yes, but it is imperative that you find her before Dikaidus does or we are doomed." -
(Alright!)
Annabel walked across the familiar sidewalk, sighing to herself as she tugged her backpack back up onto her shoulder. Once again, she's had a rough day, and she didn't enjoy it one bit. She hated the people at her school with a burning passion. -
Markus said "Yes sir. But if I may ask, how will I know what the princess looks like, sir?" The Captain took out a picture of what the princess might look like after the 16 years she has been away from Terina. Markus studied the picture and said "I see." He put the picture away and said "I will not fail. I will find her and bring her here."
-
As she gets closer to her house, she slows her pace, groaning aloud. Her parents would probably ask her about her day. She'll lie, again, as always. A small part of her wants to admit what's going on, but then again, it would be embarrassing to have to get her parents involved in her own problems.
-
Markus and The Captain walked to a different room that looked like it held a portal maker. Someone turned on the portal and set it to Earth. The Captain said "One last thing. The princess' name is Annabel. That will help." Markus nodded and walked through the portal.
Once on Earth, he could not be more out of place considering he still had his armor on. But no one was around so there wasn't anything to worry about. -
Annabel finally reaches the front door. She tugs the keys out of her pocket, missing the hole a few times before finally getting it in the slot. She unlocks the door and heads inside. The lights are off; that means her parents are out. Good. No confrontation today, then. She takes off her shoes and drops her bag, heading to the kitchen to look for a snack.
-
Markus walked around looking for the princess but couldn't find her. Everyone seemed to be staring at him for his attire but he payed no mind. He was dead set on finding the princess, armor or no armor. He then decided to try some of the houses in the area to see if maybe they knew where she was.
-
Should Markus choose to knock on one of her neighbor's doors, they would answer and give him directions to her house. They assumed he was a friend; weird, but they recognized he was about her age, and they considered her to be weird, too.
Annabel grabs a box of cereal and sits at the table, sighing. She opens it up and slides her hand into it, pulling out a fistful of cereal. She shoves it into her mouth, chewing aggressively. Normally, her parents would yell at her for doing that. -
This was exactly what Markus did and soon found the house that Annabel was said to live in. He rang the doorbell and waited. He was still getting some strange looks because of his attire but he kept ignoring them. These Earth humans would never understand if he explained anything.
-
Annabel is in the middle of shoving another fistful of cereal into her mouth when the doorbell rings. She blinks, slowly setting the box down and making her way to the door. She knows it could be a stranger, but she goes on and opens it anyway. At the sight of Markus, her jaw drops open, and she gawks at him. "Uhhh. Can I help you, dude?"
-
Markus looked at the picture and though a few details were incorrect, he was almost positive that this was the princess. He asked "Are you Annabel Calleigh?" He was hoping for a yes, otherwise the others lied to him and now he must ask for more information.
-
Annabel continues to stare, not answering at first. Not only was he some strange kid, but he knew her name. She slowly leans against the door frame and nods. "Yeah. How did you get my name? And, uh.. What's with the outfit? You cosplaying or something?"
-
Markus didn't answer her questions. He instead took off his helm, got down on one knee, bowed and said "By the order of the Knights of Terina, I, Sir Markus Gunderhar, am here to bring you home. My princess."
