Celeste had been silent during the exchange, too nervous to speak up. When Morgan finally came down from the tree, she smiled, giving the human a reassuring look. "I promise we will not harm you. We want to protect you, that's all."

"Protect me?" Morgan asked, looking at the fairy. "From what?"

"From other less friendly creatures," Azarath said irritably. "We can discuss this later. Now hop on."

"Why should I?" Morgan asked. "How do I know I can trust you? How do I know that you aren't these "other less friendly creatures"?"

"If I was one, I wouldn't be warning you, now would I?" Azarath said, his limited amount of patience beginning to run out. "I can hear them, let's GO already."

"Could be trying to trick me," Morgan said. But she stopped and listened. She did hear something. Maybe they were telling the truth.

"the unfriendly one you need to look out for is the king of cyclopes, cyclopes eat humans and his family was slayed by one years ago." Norman said. He was partly true cyclopes did eat humans and some of the king's family members were killed, but he never held a grudge against them.

Celeste nodded in agreement with Norman. "I don't know the King of the Cyclopes well, but Norman isn't wrong. They are known to be a bit.. Viscous towards humans." The fairy sighed, putting one hand on her cheek. "Come along, little one. We can talk once we get out of here." She leaned over, holding out her other hand to help Morgan get onto Azarath's back.

Azarath flinched once more, feeling like a regular farm horse with all these people sitting on him, but tolerated it nevertheless.

Cautiously Morgan took the being's hand and got onto the centaur's back. She wasn't sure about any of this.

Celeste noticed the flinch, but wasn't sure what to say. She inhaled, clapping her hands together. "Well then! We need to take Morgan somewhere safe. Anyone have any recommendations of a place that is low-profile?"

Azarath thought for a moment. "Anywhere is better than here right now. We should take her to the outskirts of some nobody village."

"she could hide in my house, I'm the butler of the demon king so the cyclopes king probably wouldn't look there, and my brother can find something to help keep the cyclopes king away." Norman said timidly. He really loved pretending. He was sure Alexei would be proud
