Morgan backed away from the city. There were creatures she'd never dreamed of seeing. She was freaked out after what just happened. She turned and ran. It was too much for her to grasp.
-
"I saw the human at devil town square. I'm sure it was human, I could smell it." Norman said. The rest of the monster council rushed out of the meeting disbanding it. Alexei stormed out with only anger in his eyes but a smile on his face to avoid suspicion of passerbys.
-
Celeste watches everyone pour out of the room before her mind can even process this information. She frowns, knowing that most of the highnesses would likely attempt to harm the human. She spots Azarath and hurries over to him, knowing he's more sensible than many. "Azarath," she says urgently, "We ought to try and find the human before the others."
-
Azarath looked deeply into Celeste's eyes. "Oh no. I know what you're thinking. You want to try and rescue the human, don't you?"
-
Morgan ran out of the city as fast as she possibly could. She was scared, to say the least. She had gone through a magical portal to a strange place filled with strange people and they were all staring at her like she meant something awful and those looks sent chills down her spine. She hadn't even thought magic had existed until now.
-
Norman stealthily listened to Azarath and Celeste talk. He decided to play timid and follow them for his king. "Hey.. I heard you guys talking about helping the human." Norman muttered to them timidly.
-
Azarath turned to Norman with a stifling air. "What concern is it of yours?"
-
"I do," she says defensively. "It's the right thing to do, Azarath."
When Norman approaches, she turns her attention to him. She gives the centaur a brief look before smiling to the demon. "We could use all of the help we can get. It'll be the three of us versus... Well everybody else!" -
Azarath shot Celeste a look of lofty contempt, but said nothing. He was a centaur; he couldn't expect others to understand the things he could. For if this new accomplice had meant the human well, why would he announce it to a group of human-hating beasts?
-
*why would he announce their discovery
-
(tbh the monsters don't actually hate humans all that much but Alexei is telling them humans are bad and stuff)
-
(Oooh, noted! He definitely gives off a vibe of "everybody listens to me" haha)
-
Morgan ran as far away from the city as possible. She climbed the tallest tree she could find as fast as she could. It seemed like the safest place at the time. If they wanted her, they'd have to climb up and get her, and she didn't think they'd want her to fall out of the tree and possibly die.
-
Norman could sense the discontent in Azarath. "I would have kept it a secret, but there were alot of other demons who had seen the human." Norman said. Meanwhile Alexei was watching as the monster kings and queens discussed their plans on the great human's arrival. The princess if the kitsune walked up to Alexei after awhile, "s-sir Alexei, it's been awhile since we've seen each other." The kitsune princess said. "Ah yes, Hina was it?" Alexei said to her.
-
Aha, thank you.))
Azarath's suspicion eased a bit. "I see. Well, we must waste no time in retrieving the human. Come, ride on my back you two. We will go faster."
The last bit hurt his pride deeply, offering to carry them as if he were a common horse. Nevertheless, a life was in the balance. He wasn't that prideful, right?
