Goldie whined nervously, walking closer to Hollow.

Hollow twisted his head to try to look at him, but due to the shape of his head and placement of his eyes he couldnt actually look down

Iggie began to covertly read his book again.

Hollow whined softly as he tried to look at them but eventually gave up

Goldie went up on his hind legs for as long as he could.

Hollow managed to move his head in a way so he could look at Goldie out of the corner of his eye, but the edge of his shell covered head was digging into his shoulder
(Fun fact- if you need to hide from Hollow just stay under him. Thats letteraly the only place he cant see) -
Oh no, the poor bebbe))
Goldie ran ahead of Hollow, barking. -
He gets rather upset about it too if he cant find the person in his blind spot)
Hollow lifted his head back into its normal place and looked at him, making a little trill -
Aw no :c))
Goldie's tongue lolled out happily as Iggie surreptitiously continued to read his book. -
Hollow followed after them quietly

Iggie eventually succumbed to drowsiness and fell asleep, patting Goldie occasionally.

Hollow chuckled and looked around for an inn

Goldie padded obediently after Hollow, barking at the occasional flying piece of dandelion fluff.

Hollow led them to the town inn and managed to get a room for Iggie to sleep

Iggie was small enough to use a pillow case as a sleeping bag, so Goldie occupied most of the bed.
