"Do you sleep?" Iggie asked, as he nudged Goldie awake.

Hollow tilted gis head "not normally."

"You're a very independent creature, huh?" Iggie commented.

Hollow just tilted his head in confusion

"I mean, you're very self-sufficient," Iggie said. "I wonder how it works..."

Hollow gave a low hum. "we are Void given mind. Technically, my species arnt really alive" he said, tilting his head the other way

"But...you are alive," Iggie protested. "You're real, aren't you?"

Hollow just shrugged in response, closing his eyes for a moment. "i mean, if you took my mask off I'd just kinda fall appart. Do with that information as you wish."

"So your mask is your key component," Iggie said, mostly to himself.

Hollow nodded in agreement

"Hmm, I'll have to think of a way to fix your problem," Iggie said. "But anyway, we'd better get going!"

Hollow tilted his head in confusion but just stood up

Goldie jumped off of the bed, leaving a bunch of flying hair in his wake.

Hollow snorted at the dog, amused

Iggie spluttered, waving hair away from his face and sighing. "Too bad this machinery sheds."
Goldie bounded out the door eagerly.
