The reptilliequine creature decided that she liked Vitalus and promptly sat down, taking care not to squash him.

Vitalus patted her heaf

"Made a new friend, Vitalus?" Elytra said, as the creature purred.

Vitalus nodded and chirped happily

"Well, that's nice! I wonder who her human partner is," Elytra mused. Not a moment later, a skinny young woman appeared, spinning a battle axe.

Spirit squeaked and scrambled Back to Vai

The reptilliequine creature shriveled away from the odd woman, a look of wild fear in her eyes. "I'm Jennifer," the woman said to Elytra, looking the petrified girl up and down. "And that's my...thing. Dunno what it is."
Elytra felt a wave of dislike towards Jennifer, but swallowed it down. "I'm Elytra, and this is my friend, Vitalus." -
Vitalus hissed at Jennfifer

Jennifer laughed coldly. "Friend? You'll learn soon enough that these critters aren't the friendly type. The first one I had tried to take my eye out. Goes to show how useful they are."

Vitalus flared his wings at her angrilly

"Actually, I think it goes to show how clever they can be," Elytra said. "And don't talk to me or Vitalus ever again."

Jennifer looked shocked before a rather ugly look slid onto her face. "If that's the way it is, so be it." With a tug, she lead the reptilliequine creature away. -
Vitalus almost went after her, but stopped and looked at Elytra

Elytra's expression was hard and her eyes held a sort of cold anger. "Not yet, Vitalus. The time will come."
