Phen yawned and settled back down

Ardis blinked bleary-eyed at the fire. Flix slipped outside and returned looking much fatter than usual.

Phen stared at him in confusion

Flix laid down and rolled over, his tongue lolling out.

Phen shrugged and curled under his wings

Flix wriggled appealingly in search of belly rubs.

Phen blinked at him in confusion

Flix, eventually realizing that he wasn't going to get a belly rub, curled up next to him.

Phen huffed quietly before tucking his wing over him

Flix purred and cuddled closer to Phen.

Phen grinned happily

Flix lulled into a gentle slumber.

Phen looked over at his companion to check on her

Ardis stirred, as if she felt Phen's watchful gaze on her.

Phen hummed softly and looked away
