"Okay," Dallas said gratefully. She managed to set up a camp and instantly fell asleep.

"Alright," Kenna said, but she didn't fall asleep. She just stared at the campfire.

Rin didn't feel like sleeping, so he went for a walk

Dallas relaxed in the warmth of the fire as it splashed over her.

Kenna's mind was completely void of thought as she stared at the fire.

Dallas woke up, and watched the fire.
"What do you think about this whole thing?" she asked Kenna. -
"About what?" Kenna asked. "Us being down here with a love-sick bigot? The love-sick bigot? Us being down here?"

Dallas snorted at the "love-sick bigot" part. "The whole bundle."

"I don't know," Kenna said truthfully. "I don't even know if I want to go back and face all my problems once again."

"I wonder if it's worth it to live down here," Dallas said. "If it's worth it to go back, where Lady Elincia-"

"It might be," Kenna said. "I'm not sure."

Rin saw a place he never wanted to see again. "Elincia why did you leave me?" Rin asked himself bursting into tears.
