"hey we're lucky we have Peter, if we didn't I'd take a year." Engle said.

Annie said nothing and continued on.

"still, it's no small feat to get to the top of the tree." Engle said.

"Mmhmm," Annie said, adjusting her shoulders to keep Peter from falling off.

"Peter's always been overusing his powers for others, I wish he'd tell me if he was getting tired." Engle said.

Annie bobbed her head.

Engle wondered what he could catch in this wasteland.

Annie started to get tired after twenty miles or so.

"wanna switch?" Engle asked.

Annie shook her head, panting. "I-I can do it."

"no, you seem pretty tired and I am not carrying two eggsauted people." Engle said.

"Fine," Annie said, sliding Peter onto Engle and turning into a short haired Siamese.

Engle turned into a mouse, crawled under Peter and then turned into a horse.

Annie turned into a little mouse and fell asleep on top of Peter. She planned to rest only for a short time.

"ugh, they're going to have to carry me later." Engle muttered.
