Megan stopped when she got to the cave. After looking at it for a bit, she walked in. Soon, it was pitch black. She kept on tripping over stalagmites that were just taller than her foot. She wished she had brought a flashlight. But she knew that she wouldn't have brought a flashlight on a normal bike ride, which was what she thought it was going to be. She got to the back of it and saw a shadow of something. "Hello?" she half asked.

When Antauri heard the hello, he thought it was odd. It sounded more like a girl's voice than someone wearing a mask or a loud commanding voice. He then wondered if this was a trick or something genuine. He then said "Hello?" and waited for a response.

Megan was surprised to get a response back. In English too. She half expected to be in some language she'd consider as 'gibberish.' "I'm Megan," she replied, not knowing what else to say.

Antauri heard the voice again and opened his glowing eyes and said "I am Antauri. are you going to imprison me?" He hoped this wasn't a trick, maybe this voice named Megan will be an actual friend.

Megan took a step forward. "Why would I imprison you?" Megan asked, confused. "Are people looking for you? Do you need help?"

"If you are offering help, I could defiantly use it. I'm being chased by people with white coats and masks and other people with green uniforms helping them out. You wouldn't happen to have a place to hide would you?" Antauri asked.

"Not really, unless you'd like to stay at my house for a while," Megan said. "I don't think they'd expect you there."

Antauri said "That could work, but you'll have to help me sneak there. These white coat people could be anywhere." Just then a voice in the distance said "I think I see it's tracks this way, follow them." Antauri said "Oh no, they're here."

Megan quickly moved her hand across the back of the cave. Then she almost fell sideways, because there was an opening. A cavern that was hidden from plain sight. "In here," she said, and climbed into the cavern.

Antauri climbed in the cavern with her as a group of scientists neared the cave. They looked inside with their flashlight and one said "If it was in there then I could have possibly escaped when it heard us and covered it's tracks. Looks like we lost it. Send out an APA to all citizens of the area to be on the look out for any unnatural creatures." And with that, they all left.

Megan waited until she couldn't hear their echoing footsteps in the cave anymore. "They're gone," she said with a sigh of relief.

Antauri sighed and said "Can we get to your house now? Maybe I'll be safer. Providing you won't be afraid of me once we're in the light."

"I already saw you in the light," Megan said, suddenly thinking about Disney's Beauty and the Beast. "On the intersection before I started following you." She stood up and exited the cavern.

Antauri exited the cavern and said "Oh, that's how you followed me. I didn't even notice you. So where do you live?"

"Outside of the forest, go down the street, turn right, turn right again, turn left, right, left, then there's a sort of curving street that curves to the left, take another right, and you're there," Megan said, having the directions memorized. She stepped over a stalagmint. This time she would do a sort of march out the cave to keep herself from tripping so much.
