Ayize leaned forward in his seat, elbows resting on his knees. He held his face in his hands and tried to block out the other students, adrenaline pumping as his anxiety rose. Why did they all have to be so loud? Why did he have to go to stupid school anyway?

Maddie cleared her throat. "So, um, anyway, I'm doing good," Maddie tried to sneak a glance at Fane, but couldn't manage to find him in the midst of chaos in the back of the bus. "What about you, Tyler?" -
Fane had disappeared into the very back of the bus. Even though it was noisy he knew people wouldn't try to talk to him back there. So he pulled out a book and tuned everyone out.

"I'm good too," Tyler said. "So, what do you guys wanna do after school?"

Tyler's question to Maddie piqued Ayize's interest. After school? There was no way he could be trying to make a move, right? Ayize sat up a little, quietly listening. It's not like I like her or anything, thought Ayize to himself. I'm just bored, that's all...

"I dunno, maybe go to the park or something," Luna asked Tyler. She is hoping to hang out with her friends at the end of the school day.

"Yeah, hanging out at the park would be super fun!" Maddie grins and nods her head. Soon the bus pulls up to the school. They all hop off of the bus and walk inside the school together. Maddie has this weird feeling that someone is following them, in a not-so-nice way.

Fane waited for everyone else to get off the bus before he got off.

"Alright, it's settled then," Tyler said cheerfully. "Ah, I have physics. See you two later!"
And with that, Tyler walked away.
