"It's not vertical," Amelia said, rolling her eyes. "It's diagonal. Otherwise we'd be having even more trouble trekking up this."

Cameron sighed. He could really do without Amelia's sass at the moment. "Fine, diagonal."

Sesame caught a fly and proceeded to eat it. -
(Wit can be sass at times)

Skye looked back at the others, “Guys...? There’s some weird thing up here...” She looked over at the room that she had emerged in, it was dark and only a small hunched figure was in the corner.

"Oh just hurry up," Amelia said to Cameron.

Cameron raised his eyebrows. "You're the one trooping up the stairs behind me, but okay."

"I'm a fast walker," she said.

Cameron creaked the door open after Brynn, looking at the huddled figure. "What's that?"

Amelia finally saw what everyone was so curious about. "I don't know," she said a little quietly.

Brynn grabbed an old candlestick holder and used it to poke the thing. “Weird.” Jabbing at it again. It seemed that whatever it was, was underneath a cloak of some sort. She lifted it up, still trying to keep distance. It moved and she leapt back with a shriek.

Cameron gaped at it, then used the stick to try to lift the cloak.

"Stop poking it," Amelia said. "Whatever it is, it probably doesn't appreciate people poking at it. If it wants to come out, let it. If not, leave it."

"So you suggest we just let it sit there, without figuring out what it is?" Cameron said. "It's the first substantial thing we've found in a LONG time."
