"Yeah, that's what I've figured," Cavin said. "And we weren't even talking about him."

"I need to go," Tessa said. She needed to see her dad. Now.

"Okay," Cavin said. "Do you want to me to come with you?"

"No," Tessa said, maybe a little too harshly. Then in a softer tone, "I have to do this alone."

Cavin nodded. "Alright. If you ever need to find me, you know where to go," he said, walking down the tunnel.

Tessa nodded, and ran all the way home. She got there, and gasped for breath. She opened the door and walked in. Her dad was sitting on the couch watching tv. "Dad," she said.
Her dad looked at her. "What're you doing home?" he asked.
"This is important," she said, sitting next to him. "Do you know of an Akina Kim?" -
Cavin opened the trapdoor on the other side.

Her dad's face suddenly hardened. "She's the daughter of some people that used to work for me," he said. "Why?"
"Because she's going to my school," Tessa said. "She also asked to join your gang. And she knew my name."
He dad thought for a moment. "Don't trust her, whatever you do."
"I don't," Tessa said. "But I don't think she wants to join for good. She was with two others, but I only saw one of them. A guy with super long purple hair. You don't be the only one to ask if you can join a gang when you're with a group." Tessa viewed everyone as an enemy. Cavin was an exception though. Sometimes normal people were just normal people. Nothing more. -
Cavin climbed out, breathing in the fresh air. He climbed up a tree and just sat there, thinking things through.

Her dad thought for a moment. "Let her in," he said. "That way we can see what she's up to. Tess."
Tessa looked at him.
"I killed her parents," he said. "She'll probably be thirsty for revenge. Be careful."
"You know I always am," Tessa answered. -
('Don't trust her, whatever you do.' Aw man I'm not trustworthy I wonder why)
Akina wondered what happened with the others after she suddenly disappeared "I hope they don't do anything stupid." Akina thought to herself while she got up.
"I guess if I am going to be staying here for awhile, I am going to need food, and clothes." She said to herself while she pulled out what little money she had.
'Guess I should get the couple of hundred from my saving.' She thought to herself while she began to make her way towards the bank. Once she got there she wiped out her bank account, then headed towards a thrift store to get her some clothes, then to the super market to get herself some food. -
