(I think it might be sometime during it, due to Sunny being Luna and Neville's daughter or something like that. Sunny isn't an actual character in the book as far as I can tell)

(We have to be in modern times. The Cursed Child takes place in 2017.)

Zahrankii heard his name and stepped forward, sitting on the stool and trying to ignore the humans staring at him. "An Elf ey? Havent seen one of your kind here before" the hat said, causing Zahrankii to frown "just sort me" he grumbled back to the hat, causibg it to huff "fine fine...lets see here...lots of loyalty to your family, but a strong thirst to learn about other cultures as well. Ravenclaw!" The hat said, making Zahrankii sigh before he went and sat at the correct table avter the hat was removed

Oasis watched him sit at the Ravenclaw table sulkily. She waved at him from her table before settling down to the feast before her.

Not many of the first years had been Hufflepuff. It wasn't that way last year either. At least Rasia knew a few people from other Houses, even if they were 1st years.
