"..I remember..my parents..protect me from the hunters..but..one looked familiar.." Alyth said softly.

"One of the hunters?" Tessa asked.

"..Y-Yeah..They seemed to be female.." Alyth said softly as she looked at the ground.

'Was it the one that we saw in the city?" Tessa asked.

"T-They look similar so yeah.." Alyth said.

"Well, we can't worry about it now. We need to go to the next city," Tessa said.

"..Yea.." Alyth said emotionlessly as she soon went into the pack like she usually does.

Tessa put the pack back on and started walking. Like they had been doing for the past while. She couldn't remember how long they had been away from the first city. It was over 3 days . . .

Alyth sighed softly as she felt Tessa start back walking.

Tessa willed herself to take one step, and then another. She wanted to give up, but she couldn't and wouldn't.

"...I-I wish I could help.." Alyth told her softly as she noticed that Tessa was running low on energy to go on."..Y-You don't have to force yourself to keep going.." She whispered out.

"I'm not out of energy, Alyth," Tessa said, "I'm just tired of running. I'm tired of seeing a new horizon when it just turns out to be pretty much the same as the last. I've been running and defending myself for two years. But I can't stop, because I have nowhere to live or to call home. I can't stop because I don't want you to be abandoned in a city that wants you dead. I can't stop."

"O-Okay..." Alyth mumbled.

By the end of the day, they had reached the city. Tessa thought she might have enough energy to find a place for the night. When she started walking on the sidewalks, she saw something she didn't think she'd ever see. There were Monsters walking on the sidewalk. "You can come out, Alyth," Tessa said.

Alyth poked her head out,her eyes sparkling at seeing other monsters walking around before she hopped onto the ground,going into her normal height. "C-Can I go greet them?.." She asked as she looked up at Tessa,a pleading look being on her face.
