Alyth froze up as her irises vanished,soon growing tiny and hid in the pack.

Tessa whipped around and cut the arm of a big and burly man. He gripped his injured arm, then apparently got angry. Tessa got into a defensive stance. The man came at her, and she dodged him, but kept her arm where it had been so that the man would get cut again. When he did, she smirked. The man was all brawn and no brains. The man was fuming now. This time he decided to try and punch her. But every time he tried, Tessa put the knife up where it would land, and he put his arm back to where it was before the blow landed. Apparently he didn't like the feeling of being cut. He tried punching again, and Tessa would do the same thing. The last time he tried it, he didn't pull his arm back in time, and the knife slipped between two of the fingers and the knuckles, and went to the muscle. He yelled in pain. Tessa used the advantage to push him onto the ground. She put her foot on his back, and decided to question him. "Why are you here?" she asked.
"The Monster," he answered. "I came for the Monster."
"How did you know there was a Monster?"
"A woman, prob'ly in her 40s told me where to find you guys and what she wanted."
"Which was?"
"The Monster taken to her and you killed."
"Well, you can go back to the woman, tail between your legs, and tell her that you failed, and lost to a teenager. I bet she'll be very pleased with you. If you don't, I'll kill you right here."
The man calculated. "Alright, I'll go back."
"Good." Tessa got off of him, and watched him until he was out of sight. When he was, she turned to Alyth. "We need to go right now." -
Alyth shakily nodded her head as she looked up at Tessa from the pack in worry.

"I'm fine," Tessa said, "He's the one that got hurt. If you have too many cuts, eventually you'll die." She slung the pack on her back, and started walking.

Alyth stayed silent for a moment."..I'm the only skeleton monster alive..with unique powers.." She mumbled.

You don't have any siblings or parents?" Tessa asked.

"...I-I..don't remember.." Alyth said softly as she curled up."..Everytime I try to remember..it hurts.." She mumbled.

Tessa just nodded and kept on walking.

Alyth then had went silent and closed her eyesockets,deciding to take a small nap.

Tess walked until her legs were completely tired. She put the pack on the ground, and fell asleep on her stomach. -
Just one more cuz I doubt they'll get away if they keep this up. One is already keeping their eyes on Tessa.)
Alyth faded away into some sort of memory as she saw two skeleton monsters,one male and one female. They both seemed to be scared since they both looked behind them before looking back at her with gentle violet irises,remorse visible in them as they both moved back as they both shouted,seeming to be getting something's attention before ran off in the opposite direction of where she was.
A large group of beings with different kinds of weapons had ran after the two skeletons but one of them seemed familiar before they faded off. -
(But if it's one more, then they've only traveled to two cities. It's like, they moved from one, went to another, but that one didn't like them, so the went to a different one. I was thinking at least two more. The next one could be able to tolerate them on the streets, and the last one would be good for them.)
Tessa woke up to dirt in her face. She got up and wiped her front down. Apparently she hadn't fallen asleep on her back. It wasn't sunny today. It was the exact opposite. Cloudy, drizzling, but there was a warm wind that made it comfortable to be out there. -

Alyth was watching Tessa,seeming to be deep in thought."...I remember.." She mumbled. -
"You remember what?" Tessa asked, turning towards Alyth, curious.
