When Myriad had turned away, she buried her face in her hands. She didn't want to be bad. She wanted to leave her past behind, she wanted to have a new life. But some things just don't go away.

"so you're tellin me you're the big bad brother of the war starting casualty!?" Said a rude cop. Screech believed he was an antigrant. "Yes I'm Griffin's brother. But what do you mean war starting casualty?" Screech asked. "So ya don't know. Your precious brother's death started a war between the birdies and the natives." The cop said. Screech was just about ready to punch him out of existence for what he said. Screech also got an idea from this obviously corrupted cop. He would fix the justice system.

Myriad noticex the argument and started getting nervous

Belladonna overheard the cop and went over to them, her eyes blazing.
"That's insensitive of you. You shouldn't blame him or Griffin. I suggest that you get to work and do something useful," she snapped, giving them an intimidating glare. -
"but it's those birdies fault!" The cop snapped back with an evil leer "that's it you three are under arrest. The bird for gang activity the girlie for assault to an officer of the peace and the quiet kid for association." The officer said. A few tried to stop him, but the majority of them were Antigrants. It made screech sick.

Myriad started to panic, tugging at his hood as he started backing away

"The antigrants were defacing private property, and when we confronted them, they assaulted us! You have no right to arrest us," Belladonna growled. "I want to speak to my lawyer."

"private property. Girlie this is a public cemetery, and you guys were doing just fine at beating those natives up." Said the officer. Screech was angry "how am I participating in gang activity?" Screech said "you and your brother started the birdie resistance. If you guys would have done nothing you stupid birdies would be out of OUR country." The officer said.

Sometging flashed in Myriads eyes and he stopped tugging at his hood, seeming to go conpleatly still before he reached into his pocket

"You have absolutely no justification to arrest us. We acted in self-defense and for the protection of moral rights," Belladonna replied. "Who is the ranking officer on this site?"

"I am girlie." He said. "You know what I'll give you a proposition, you and your quiet boyfriend can go and we'll take the birdie to the station." The cop said. Screech couldn't let them pass this up. "Guys you have a way out. Go ahead and take him up on the offer." Screech said.

"f--- no" Myriad said sternly, pulling his knitting needles out of his pockets

"Um, no. I will be speaking to the justice department about this, so if you like your job then you should let Screech go too."

"as if I'd let the king of birdies off the hook." Said the cop. "You don't have to stand with me on this belladonna, you and myriad can go I'll call a lawyer and we can get this over with peacefully." Screech said.

Myriad hissed "you just want an excuse to be able to hurt him" he said
