Screech knew he had to confront something before he left, so he went inside his house. He looked for the rest of his family Inside his childhood home.

"It is" Myriad admitted "so it would take me a while, but I could do it. "

Easter looked up from her phone, the smile on her face fading away. Niz was always busy, of course, what with always being sent off on missions because he was good at what he did. She just wished that, for once, he could stay with her.
"We could just take a boat again or something like that," Belladonna protested. "What about that weird fire demon?" -
"hey Easter, I know I probably should stay here, and I know you all want me to stay, but I still need to finally come to terms with the whole Griffin thing. I've been stupid and troublesome for an entire year because I couldn't and I've just been letting it sit there. If I stay here in sattron I feel... Like I'm avoiding it, so I need to go back." Screech said, the air was so heavy he could swear he felt it.

Easter set down her phone and studied Screech for a moment. She stood up and walked over to him before fiercely hugging him, her eyes stinging despite herself. "I understand. It feels like I'm hiding here and avoiding the truth. You can go. I'll stay to take care of Mom." -
Myriad rubbed at his neck in thought "maybe

"thank you." Screech said hugging Easter back fiercely.

Easter almost crushed Screech's ribs before finally letting go. "Promise me you won't do anything stupid?"
"Whatever the "Hive" is, it sounds weird," Belladonna said, frowning. "Think we'll be seeing another one of those anytime soon?" -
"Hopefully not" Myriad said, running his claws across the floor

"I promise." Screech said in his most serious voice. He gave a sorrowful smile and with that he was off.

Belladonna stared at the door when it swung open with a bang, a distressed looking girl at the other end of it.
"Millie?" Belladonna said, recognizing her roommate. The girl burst into tears.
"I thought you two were dead! I called the police and everything!"

Easter sat down on the couch and buried her face in her hoodie, tears coming to her eyes. She would miss him.
