Aighty I shall ask))
A demonic little beast flew out at them, flapping its wings and shrieking as it dove at Myriad. Belladonna was blown back by the wind it gave off. -
Myriad shifted his weight to brace against the wind, snarling angrily against the beast as flames danced around him

The ground began to melt under the creature's touch and it glowed white hot, its lips curled back in a growling grimace. "Traitor!" it hissed as it lunged at Myriad. "Filth, dirt, a stain on my master's glory!"

Myriad caught the creature by its throat, unbothered by the heat as he twisted to slam it into the ground, baring his teeth at it. "I would recommend you leave my territory before I rip you to shreds " he hissed

It clawed frantically at Myriad's hand, trying to escape as it shrieked and thrashed around. I am but one of many, my death has no value. Kill me if you wish, it will only anger the Hive!"

Myriad hissed and started crushing the creatures throat his eyes glowing brightly "then I will hunt down your hive and turn it to ash" he hissed

The creature gasped and kicked in retaliation as it struggled for air as Belladonna watched, frozen to the ground in fear. That which is fire cannot be burned! Can't you hear them? The voices are calling to you. It's in your head, isn't it? Or is the human in you too much to unleash your true potential? it said, its tone becoming increasingly panicky.

Myriad glared down at the creature "i chose this path" he hissed before he snapped the creatures neck with a swift motion. He then moved to stand, shifting his gaze to Belladonna "are you ok?"

Belladonna rubbed her hands up and down her arms. The temperature seemed to drop a bit. "Yeah, I'm okay," she said, looking at him with concern. "What about you? Did that thing, whatever it was, did it hurt you?"

He shook his head "no, it didn't hurt mw" he said clmly

Belladonna wrapped Myriad in a hug. "You could have died," she said, her voice a little shaky.

Myriad huffed softly and hugged her back "id be fairly disappointed with myself if thats how I went down

Belladonna laughed with nervous energy. "Still. It sounded like it was trying to say something, but all I heard was a garbled mess."

"It was nothing to worry about" he said calmly

"Well it isn't as hot anymore, that's a relief," Belladonna said. "But on the downside, it's starting to get dark. We should probably get home fast before another one of those things shows up."
