Belladonna skipped over with glee and ordered the icecreams, handing Myriad a cup full of chocolatey goodness and a spoon.

Myriad took the cup, immediately lowering his own body temperature from his usual feverish high so it wouldnt melt as quickly

Belladonna had hers in a cone and bit into it before gasping. "Brain freeze!" she squeaked.

Myriad blinked at her in confusion

Belladonna put a hand on her head. Ooh, it hurt! She noticed Myriad's confused expression and preceded to give him a flawless explanation (not). "Brain freeze," she repeated stupidly, as if that was going to clear up the matter. -
Myriad just lifted an eyebrow at her

"Head is cold," she managed, before it began to fade away.

"Oh." He said before reaching over and setting his warm hand on her head in the attempt to help

"Oh!" Belladonna said, surprised. "Wow, your hand is really warm."

"Cones with the species" he said in amusement

Belladonna took his hand in her own, holding it like a hot pack. "Ooh, cozy," she giggled. "It must be kind of nice to have superpowers."

Myriad shrugged a little "not really

Belladonna nodded in understanding, giving his hand a comforting squeeze before releasing it.
"You see it as a curse," she said quietly. "But I think it's a gift. It's just been exploited."
