"Thank you" Myraid said quietly, picking at his hands again

Belladonna sipped the stew as politely as she could, wanting to wolf it down. Prism looked pleased and got some stew for Nori.

"it's my legs that don't work Prism, not my arms." Nori said with a laugh

Myriad started playing with his hood, looking uncomfortable. He hadnt touched hos bowl yet

"I know that," Prism said, scrunching up her face teasingly. "Can't a girl be a lady for once in her life?"
She turned towards the others, noticing Myriad's untouched bowl. "It's better warm, you know. Don't worry, Nori's cooking isn't awful," she said to him, before turning mischievously to Nori. "Yet!" -
"I'll still be better at cooking than you'll ever be, I'm sure screech and Easter can attest to that." Nori said
"Are you okay?" Screech asked sensing myriad's discomfort -
"Im fine" Myriad said quietly, pulling his arms closer to himself

"We can leave now, if you want," Belladonna said.

"I'm sorry myriad, if I had known this would happen here I'd never have let you two come with me." Screech said

Myriad flinched, hidding under his hood "i-its fine. You dont need to leave" he said quietly

Belladonna moved her bowl aside. "We want what's best for you. We're a family, remember? I'll follow you stubbornly because that's what I do. So tell me honestly, do you want to be here?"

Screech waited for myriad's answer in anticipation but still ate his stew to make in less akward

"Its fine" Myriad said again, shaking a little

Belladonna pursed her lips, but returned to her bowl of stew.

"please tell me what's wrong, I don't understand." Screech said in anguish. He was worried and confused.
