When A Magic Using Maniac Unites Some Criminals In The New York City Area C1, A Beginner Vigilante, Attempts To Unite Their Own Team To Counter This. Except All The Cool Heroes Reject Them, So They'll Have To Settle For You (C2, Or C3, Or However Many Characters You Might Like To Control.)

A Time Traveller From The Year 3093 Travels Back To 2020 To Warn The World Of The Impending Swiss Invasion. When Nobody Believes Them They Track Down A C1, Who Would Go On To Lead In The Human Resistance Movement. Unfortunately C1 Is Not Quite Leader Material Just Yet So, Something!
