Gigantus didn't know the first thing about magic and asked "What does it mean if it's torn?"

"I dont know" He said honestly as he eyeed the rip. He moved the runes with a gesture to look around as he continued: "ive never seen anything like this, even during my time in the Cult of Vale."

Osseuss brushed his fingers over it. "Neither have I. Not in real life."

Gigantus said "Great so the people who understand magic have no clue what's going on. That builds confidence doesn't it?"

Captain snorted softly "it sure does" he said sarcastically before letting the runes fade. "My best guess is someone tried to f--- with something that doesnt belong in this world, which caused the weave to become damaged

"Well, does that help us to know anything?" Osseuss said, urgently. She peered at the crack and examined a piece of rubble, before letting out a low whistle. "No kidding. They really did screw up."

Gigantus said "Well what do we do about that? If it doesn't belong here, how can we prepare for it?"

Captain looked at Gigantus "we should head back home for now. I have some books from my time in the cult, i can see if i can find anything there." He said

Osseuss raised her eyebrows but said nothing, hoping back onto her horse with a shard of the broken stone in her hand.

Gigantus saddled onto his horse and looked at a spear, brunt and lodged into the ground. He thought he recognized the spear, but couldn't remember from where. He thought nothing of it and just brushed it off.

Captain swung himself back onto his horse and started leading the way back to tge village, looking lost in thought

Osseuss followed him, brushing the shard with her finger.

Gigantus followed the others, making sure to mount the horse correctly this time.
