Basic background info- Calian is a large kingdom cruelly ruled by a tyrant emperor, who harshly punishes anyone who speaks out against him. To the west of the kingdom lays the Ether Fields, where the Cult of Vale and the Hyzanilk reside. The northern and eastern sides of the kingdom are bordered by ocean, and the titan mountain range lays to the south.
Our characters are the residents of a village in the western half of Calian, who have recently started to rebel against the emperor after discovering a neighbouring village that had been burnt to the ground by the tyrants army.
Species of Calian-
Skull-kin
Simple skeleton creatures that are highly magically inclined. While most resemble human skeletons, it isnt uncommon to find one with additional features such as tails or horns
Human
Basic human.
Giants
Tall humanoid creatures, avaraging at abput 10 feet tall. Usually have large horns and gray brown skin.. Not very magicaly inclined, they usually serve as sellswords
Wolven
Anthropomorphic canines, typically reassembling wolves. Other then appearence, Wolven are similar to humans
Hyzanilk
Creations of the void god Vale, those highly aggressive monsters greatly vary in appearence. Most are highly intelligent and are capable of human speech, though most will simply eat you before speaking. They only obey those associated with their creator. Thankfully, the Hyzanilk dont appear to have anyway of reproducing and are genderless

Magically inclined?-uses some form of shadow magic to make weapons, typicaly a sword.
Appearance-
Personality- Captain is rather strange, not often showing his true emotions. He seems cheerful and easily amused, but can easily switch to a cold hearted fighter if needed.
Bio- Captain is a former priest of the Cult of Vale. As such he has several abilitys from his time in the cult, and has an unnatural connection to the dark god as a result. He recent left the cult with the help of a friend and joined the village as a guard.
Other- the marking on his skull is burned into the bone, and is sensitive to touch -

Appearance: Your average Skull-kin, except with claws
Personality: Competitive, friendly, cunning
Bio: Osseus is furious about the fall of the village, especially because her sister died during the attack. She is ready for revenge and a chance to fight.
Other: (Osseus is skeleton in Latin, if you're wondering. Her father was ever so fond of dad jokes) -

Gender- refers to themselves as Male
Species- Hyzanilk
Magically inclined?-no, but he can projectile vomit acid
Appearance-
Personality- Erratum is a wild card, acting solely on instinct. He listens to Captains orders, but will ignore others or outright attack them if they give him orders. As a result he is never seen without Captain nearby.
Bio- Erratum was assigned as Captains protector when the skull-kin became a priest, and has been loyal to him sense

Magically inclined?-(do they use magic and if so what kind)nope,Just a regular Wolven that just fights with her claws and fangs
Appearance-
Personality-Often is very calm unless she gets pissed off
Bio-Midnight once was the Alpha of her pack until she lost a fight,due to being clawed in the left eye,permanently being blind in that eye. However,had quickly regained her title but the scar still remained. Everything was fine until she found out that her territory was attacked,leaving most of her pack dead,And Midnight blaming herself for their deaths but at the same time wanting revenge.
