(Okay. Time skip time.)
After a while, everything was completed. Jack walked up to the stage and spoke into the microphone. He said "Okay everyone. Now that everything is decorated and everyone else should be coming soon, I will reveal my mystery guest. My mystery guest is....a human."
Webster was watching with his spiders again and said "A human?" -
"Connor!" Carla whined as she followed him and his friends down the dark streets. "Nobody's even trick or treating out here! These houses don't have their lights on!" She didn't feel the need to mention that the distance between houses was also getting larger. She wasn't tall enough to see over the stone wall that separated them from the trees behind but she decided that was for the best. "Just tell me where we're going!"

"A human? What a surprising revelation!" Valerie says, posing with a hand over her mouth dramatically. By now she had adorned a new outfit: a black and white striped shirt, a black pencil skirt, mesh stockings, and black boots.
