It is 2466, and the Earth has hit its peak in technology. Humanity has mastered the art of genetically engineering all living things; medicine has been improved tremendously, and health is at its prime; many jobs have been improved by machinery to better help humans complete their tasks.
Just about everything is controlled through a high-tech system. Every citizen has a digital I.D. stored in a chip within their arms. These I.D.s are important to everyone's life; within them is everything needed. Medical information, money, credentials, criminal records, everything. The general public calls this "the System."
The System is almost perfect... Almost. After all, technology has been known to have imperfections and malfunctions. Conspiracy theorists assume that the glitches occurring throughout the System are no accident, however. They believe that the government is intentionally manipulating the System in order to get what they want in almost any situation. People are going missing, criminals are getting away with high-offense crimes, and the economy seems to be crashing harder than it ever has before. The elite are forever elite, and there is no way for others to climb to the top.
You are a young adult from one of the less fortunate neighborhoods. As a young child, you glorified the System and believed that it was the key to a Utopian society. However, with more and more crimes being swept under the rug, you feel as if there is something being hidden by the government.
One day, you receive a digital invitation to attend a ball being hosted by an unknown elite. When you arrive, you notice that several people stand out in the crowd.. In particular, the people that have no digital I.D. upon being scanned. It is as if the System does not have them registered. You can't help but feel as if their presence is the start of something big...

Weapons/Gadgets: "Mini-computer"; about the size of your average smartphone, but thin like paper. Has access to endless amounts of databases and websites. Can show holographic images from a small lens. Strong stereo. Highly illegal.
Enhancements/Modifiers: Robotic left leg; it is made of durable metal, but is lightweight and relatively easy to handle. Has no special features. Faux right eye; looks extremely real, but is actually fake. Has a few features, including: x-ray scanning, enhanced sight, night vision, and a link to his "mini computer" (this means that if he scans an object with his eye, it will give him information about said object).
Other: Wears fake glasses to keep distract people staring from his faux eye.

Weapons/Gadgets: "Baby"; a high-tech bracelet that turns into a large gauntlet that covers her entire arm up to her shoulder. Made of the city's strongest metals. There is an circular orb in the palm that can shoot out laser beams. Secret compartments are located on either side of her wrist; these two compartments hold mini rockets that deal quite a bit of explosive damage. The only downside to Baby is that some of its paint is peeling off, and Lorrie is too broke to repaint it. "Ranger"; a high-tech rifle that can be conveniently turned into a small cube-shaped keychain. Has two different settings: laser beams and plasma balls. Hard to handle, but highly destructive if it actually hits something. Also carries a few basic daggers and an extremely old pistol.
Other: Has a British accent. Most noticeable when she is angry or upset. -

Weapons/Gadgets: A small scanner that can find special metals or tech, especially cybernetics.
Enhancements/Modifiers:Her left arm is fully cybernetic. Her fingers can serve as cabling connectors so she can connect to computers and such. This information can be fed to a small implant just behind her left ear that reads the information to her brain, although it's not always reliable and nowhere near legal.
Other:She works in a chop shop dealing with illegal cybernetic tech. -

Name: RB-1005 (nicknamed Ruby)
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexual
Age: Like.. 8? But built to look like she's in her 20s
Species: Android (full on robot)
Appearance: Clickety-clack!
Brief History: Illegal in everyway. The building process for her was secretly funded by a rich politician, and she's not like other androids because of that. However, when she was finally done, the politician claimed that she was "broken" because of how she seemed to feel emotions and could fight back. He powered her off and sent her, in pieces, to a junkyard for scrap metal. Luckily someone found her (my next character) and was knowledgable enough in robotics to put her back together
Enhancements/Modifiers: Able to see in the dark, waterproof (unless her wires are cut open and exposed to water), and can make herself hotter and colder (temperature-wise)
Weapons/Gadgets: She wasn't originally built for fighting, but she has add-ons. Her weapons are hilts attached to her forearms that elongate into swords. The hilts can also shoot bullets like a gun, though the downside is that she has to reload them, and she can't use the sword and gun features at once (it's either both arms are swords, or both arms are guns)
Other: She's a painter

Brief History: Grew up homeless and never knew who his parents were. He roams around dumps and junkyards to sale anything that he finds that has value. Taught himself how to hack, code, street fight, and build things
Weapons/Gadgets: A little flying drone he named SD, doesn't do anything special except capture video and understand his voice commands. He has an old school computer (more like a tablet, he doesn't have the keyboard piece) that has a cracked screen. Milo wears high tech glasses that he's programmed to show him the names and records of the faces he sees; however, the glasses are broken and he can only wear it on one eye
Enhancements/Modifiers: His enhancements aren't that visible, he worked powerful fuel into his muscular system and made it able run on electrical pulses. Basically, if he shocks himself or gets electrocuted, he becomes stronger and faster
Other: He loves magnets for some reason. Also, he's the one who found Ruby and fixed her up
Debating on whether or not I should make a third character.. If I do, it'll have to be later since it's almost 4am and I'm tired -
It is insanely hard to find good android pictures. I ended up going with Alyce's fc after struggling to find anything with any "robotic" features.

Brief History: X was never meant to venture out or to do the things other androids were capable of. He was mass produced as a series of robots that will protect anything they are programed to for anyone who could afford them. X was purchased by a wealthy old man to protect him from intruders. One night when he was on patrol, X was struck by lightning and short-circuited. Once repaired, something odd happened, somehow he gained sentience, and decided he no longer wished to work security.
Weapons/Gadgets: He isn't really built for full on battle, but his right arm converts into a taser weapon used to disarm and incapacitate intruders, he also has a self repair function but he cannot use it when firing his taser
Enhancements/Modifiers: Thermal image vision, durability, High beam and strobe light mode for blinding enemies
Other: He speaks in a monotone and direct tone of voice because he has no emotions, just sentience.
