"It's not a religion that's the problem. It's plastic bottles, materials from the rain forest, litter, products from large companies, and other convieniences that parents don't want to give up." Libra replied. "Jennifer, perhaps you could-" Libra then began. "No." Aquarius replied. "I tire of this subject. The humans are given many chances to change and they don't. I want another flood." Aquarius huffed. "Jennifer!" Leo warned. "She's right. We should have another flood." Taurus agreed. "Jennifer, Selena, I already told you. We are not killing off the humans again. That was a terrible mistake, a result of the three who we will no longer speak of. Now, Jennifer, Emily is right. You might be able to give people the strength they need to make a decision to help their planet." Leo told them. Pices was distracted now by her frustration, and sighed, standing up and leaving. She needed air. Cancer, Ares, Virgo, and Taurus being her siblings looked concerned, and Libra being her friend shared this concern. "Should I get her Damien?" Aquarius asked.
-
Leo answered "No, I'll go talk to her." He got up and followed Pisces out. He came to her and asked "Amelia, it's not like you to walk out like that. Are you feeling okay? Is there something you want to get off your chest?"
While he was gone, Scorpio asked "So are we continuing this or are we gonna wait for them to return?"
(I must ask, are you actually a Pisces or did you pick it because you like it.) -
(A bit of both actually. I am a Pices, and my sister is too. So Pices has always had a family meaning to me, as well as representing my love of water.)
"Damien is the leader. We can't have meetings without him." Aquarius told him. "Aren't you dating him?" Virgo asked. "Shut up Karen." Aquarius muttered. "Jenny is the teacher's pet." Virgo sang. "Enough! Will you stop acting like a child Karen?" Sagittarius asked. "No." Karen replied honestly.
"No, I'm fine. I just needed air." Pisces assured him.
(I'm thinking Scorpio gets annoyed and walks out to confront her.) -
(I see. I'm a Scorpio myself.)
Scorpio sighed loudly and said "I'll take care of this myself." and he stood up to exit. Cancer said "Wait, I wouldn't do that, Travis." "Relax Eugene, I'm just gonna speed things up is all." Scorpio replied. "That's what I'm afraid of. I've seen how you handle these kinds of situations." Cancer retorted. Scorpio just brushed him off and went to look for Leo.
Leo looked at Amilia and said "You have to tell me if something is bothering you. Even if you really do need air, I can tell you feel something is wrong. And if you don't tell me, I'll figure it out from someone else." -
Amelia sighed, looking at the ground. "I've been under a lot of pressure. In the 90's we focused a lot on destroying the 'Other', the discrimination that people had with each other. And so every individual had their own voice and passion and that's great. But they care more about that individual passionate voice than they care about their families, their friends. Father's are abondoning their families more than ever, children leave their family to search for their destiny despite any concerns from trusted people. I mean, there are good things happening too, but what does family even mean to people? It's just so hectic... It's hard to find families that aren't broken now a days..." She explained.
-
Leo said "Yes, Travis' influence has caused a great insurgence in people wishing to follow their dreams. But you have to remember, sometimes people must leave family behind to pursue what they believe. It doesn't mean they don't care about their families any less." Scorpio came in and said "My thoughts exactly." Leo said "Travis, what are you doing here?" "I wanted to see if you could wrap this up to wrap the meeting up as well. Annoyingly, we ain't gonna continue without you."
-
"Well of course we aren't continuing without him. He's the leader after all." Amelia muttered. "And what about all the husbands cheating on their wives because of their passions? And how about the fact that children run away from home because their parents won't allow them to follow a dead end passion?" Amelia asked. She knew these things weren't Scorprio's intention based off previous fights, that this was the result of Humans twisting his influence with Capricorn's. But she was too frustrated to care.
-
Scorpio said "For the last time, that is not my intention. I just want people to follow their dreams. I can't read their minds to see what their passions might be, I just make them want to follow it more. And you're not any better, you trap humans in abusive marriages and family which crush their souls to the point where they can't even think about their passions to escape."
-
“I don’t do that, Karen keeps making families abusive to give people challenges. Besides, it’s actually your passion that drove teenagers to get into those relationships in the first place, I try to get them back to their real families, the ones that support them, but-“ Amelia defended, getting cut off. “Enough. Enough from both of you.” Leo told them, his voice booming off the walls. “You can’t keep fighting like this. If the council has fights, we’re done for.” Leo told them, returning to the hall.
“They’ve been at it for awhile now Damien. They’re both very stubborn, and I think there might be something more going on.” Aquarius muttered. “It doesn’t matter why. The more the bud heads, the more tension in the Council, and the more chaos in humanity,” Leo sighed. “I know what you mean. Lol is in the fricken dictionary.” Gemini sighed. Damien nodded, and a meeting commenced of how this problem should be solved. -
Scorpio watched him leave and said "Now look what you've done. We're about to possibly be kicked out of the council like the ones we don't speak of. If you weren't so stubborn."
Cancer said "Well, what can we do? I don't want my sister to be cursed." "No one does, Eugene. But this isn't a problem that can be solved quickly." Sagittarius stated. -
“But Travis And Amelia are only rivals. They don’t fight as violently as the others did.” Virgo reasoned. “She’s not wrong. Those three hated each other. So much they were willing to put millions of humans in danger to harm each other.” Taurus replied. “Then perhaps there’s a solution.” Leo decided. “Perhaps we send them to the human world, and if they can live a week there without harming a single person, then they can return. If their fights escalate further... We’ll have to banish them.” Leo decided. “Does everyone agree?” He asked.
“You’re the one that had to come raging in here. I was trying to calm down. I was trying to avoid this. You couldn’t just be patient? Or even, crazy idea, try to calm yourself? No? I’m the only one with self control? Not surprising.” Amelia countered, crossing her arms. Leo came out of the room, frowning at the two. “Your presence is required.” He told them before going back in -
Scorpio said "I'm not the one who ran off in a huff for no reason. And I have better things to do than be in a meeting all day." Scorpio followed Leo back after he told them to come. Leo said "It had been decided that you're rivalry must be stopped before it gets worse. So we are going to send you to live among the humans for a week and if you don't try and hurt anyone then you may return. If your fights get worse then you will be banished."
-
(It’s not if they purposely hurt anyone. It’s obvious that they don’t actually want to hurt the humans. Accidentally harming a human counts too. This is to see what kind of collateral damage their fighting might cause.)
“Very well.” Amelia replied. Seemed easy enough, they would just take separate ways and avoid each other for a week. It was more a vacation to help her calm down than a test. “The human world is a big place.” Gemini muttered. Dammit, she forgot. Gemini could read minds. “What if they simply avoid each other? That won’t solve anything.” She added. “That’s a good point.” Aquarius agreed, Amelia silently cursing Gemini. “Very well. Mary Anne, could you activate a mind link on the two?” Leo replied. Gemini nodded and Amelia sighed. A mind link meant they would always know what the other was doing, as well as have a telepathic connection. This would make things very tedious, and could start more fights than fix. “Won’t that cause more harm than good?” Libra asked. “No, if anything it will make more of an understanding between them.” Virgo replied. “Of course you’d say that Karen.” Libra sighed. “She’s right, actually. Both of you are right.” Gemini sighed. “Your trial will begin tomorrow.” Leo informed them. “I suggest you go home to prepare yourselves and rest while we create homes and identities for you in the Human World.” He concluded. -
(I figured that)
Scorpio sarcastically said "Oh, well that's lovely. I'd love to have this girls thoughts in my brain, so I can see her keep someone from following their dreams because of family." Leo said "Your sarcasm is not called for. Our decision is final. Now go." Scorpio left, growling a little as he went.
(I find it interesting that these are gods and goddesses and we're just giving them normal sounding names.) -
(It’s so that when they are talking to each other near humans humans don’t get confused. Their true names are the name of the zodiac, but they address each other by those names so they don’t slip around humans.)
(Also, Virgo is named Karen because of memes where Karen is often used to yell at someone. Like: No one cares Karen” or: So There Karen.” Lol)
Pisces sighed as she entered her room, opening her closet and packing up her human clothes. She felt almost frightened of the journey awaiting her, sighing as she hugged a fairly large stuffed bear like the ones human children enjoyed for comfort. How could someone possibly see family the way Scorpio did? See family as evil... It wasn’t right.
