Adonis sits at the table and picks up a menu to look at the options as she spoke, "Depression aside, isn't it strange that Angel would perform so soon after a tragedy like that? I couldn't even imagine if my dad died," Adonis shivered, being reminded that she hadn't seen her dad ever since graduation.

Alice shrugged and said "Doesn't surprise me. The way she acted to everyone except other popular kid and Danny makes me think she has no sense of empathy towards death."

“That’s true though,” Danny said, flipping through the menu. “Let’s say she wasn’t on good terms with her dad, which seems impossible because he pretty much gave her everything she ever wanted, that spoiled brat, but let’s say they hated each other, she’d have to have some form of regret or something. I mean the only way she wouldn’t is...” Danny stopped mid sentence, and set the menu down. His face went from curiosity, to confusion, to fear. “Could it be possible?” Danny whispered. -

Yume blinked at Danny, frowning a little. "What is it?" He asked -
"Danny thinks Angel could've been affected by the blast, he was telling me about it before you guys came in," Adonis answers Yume. She shrugs. "It seemed like a stretch before, but it kinda makes sense. How is she famous enough to gather a crowd already? Fresh outta high school? Almost impossible."

“I mean she is rich, who knows if she bribed them with money, or other things.” Danny said shuddering. He hated how flirty she was with him back in high school. “But, for our own safety, when we go to her show tonight, we should be cautious. Keep our eyes and ears open for anything suspicious ” Danny picked up the menu again. “I mean I could be wrong, m-maybe she doesn’t have powers. Maybe she paid someone to kill her dad, and they covered it up. We shouldn’t rule things out because they seem improbable.”
(We can jump ahead if you guys wanna, I don’t think our characters eating is anything super important) -
(I believe we should time skip. I'd like to tell how Angel's hypnosis works considering everyone except Alice will become hypnotized. It's kinda scary.)
Alice said "What if her mom killed her dad? You hear stories like that all the time in crime novels and real-life crime stories." -

(I'll have u know Adonis eating a chicken panini with a side of cucumber salad and iced tea is of utmost importance- but fine I'll skip for y'alls sake ;P)
"Uh, I'd rather not talk about conspiracy theory murders and paying assassins before we eat," Adonis says with a chuckle as she flags down a waitress to take their order.
Later, after the meal, the group of friends finally found themselves across the street, at the theatre. "Hope we find good seats," Adonis says nervously. The talk about Alice possibly being involved in her dad's murder, or even having powers, had given her the chills. -
“Let’s get seats closest to the door so we can bail out of here if she’s awful.” Danny said chuckling. “You don’t have to be nervous Ads, I think everything will be fine.” Danny sat down and rolled his shoulders, and flipped through a pamphlet that was given to him at the front door.
