Alice said "Well, she has a singing performance tonight and it starts in an hour and a half. You guys want to see it? As much as I don't like her, I won't stop anyone else from wanting to." -
"Im not interested" Akumu said imedietly, gettibg a pout from his twin. "Well, i think it sounds like fun, so ill come see it" the lighter twin said cheerfully

"I'm down," Adonis says. She makes a u turn and starts heading to where the theatre was. "C'mon Akumu," She says with a groan, "It'll be fun! I think there's a cafe near the theatre, we can stop there for dinner, my treat," Adonis offers.

“That’s better than nothing,” Danny said as he made his way down the building he was on top of. “ I’m gonna change out of my hero stuff, I don’t want to attract attention. Dinner sounds really good too, thanks, Ad. I’ll see you guys soon.” Danny put the walker talkie in his pocket and ran back to his apartment to throw a shirt or hoodie on over what he was wearing. While he didn’t want to be seen at a public event in his hero outfit, he also didn’t want to be unprepared for the possibility that something could go wrong.

Alice said "Okay, I'll meet back here with you guys in a minute. And thank you for dinner Adonis." She then put the talkie away and ran back to her home. She changed into something more casual and looked around found her earplugs. Just to play a joke on Angel, she brought them.

Akumu grumbled "im not going" before shifting into a bird and flying off, causing Yume to pout. "well i have no idea whats up with my brother but ill be there in a few minutes" he said as he started walking, pausing to removed his hoodie and mask. He turned his hoodie insise out to show a pale blue interior and put it back on

"Kk," She says before hanging up the walkie talkie. Adonis makes it to the cafe and decides to park in an alleyway next to it. Another reason she felt motorcycles were superior to cars; they were smaller. Her ragtag hero outfit was pretty casual clothing already, so she simply ditched the vest and used her mask as a rubber band to put her hair in a ponytail. She went out to the front of the cafe to greet her friends when they arrived.

Danny made his way to the cafe where Adonis was. “Wow, vehicle beat super speed,” he joked. “Either I’m getting slower already, or I took to long to pick a hoodie I was comfortable with. Thank you for dinner, by the way.” Danny gave a smile and leaned against the wall to wait for the others. “ This all feels really weird. One of our old classmates already made it this far, and it’s only been a couple months since graduation. Do you think that Angel was affected by the same blast? Hopefully it blasted some talent into her, I never really cared for her performances.” Danny said chuckling.

Alice arrived at the restaurant in her truck, so as not to arouse attention. Even if not too many people were out, it would be suspicious to see a girl to run as fast as a cheetah. She parked, got out and said "No surprise you two beat me here."

Yume arrived at the scene a few minutes later, panting as he stopped running. He put his hands on his knees as he tried to not fall over. "Next time im calling for a ride" the lighter twin said

"Don't jump to conclusions Danny-o. We can't assume everyone was affected by the blast every time something mildly strange happens," Adonis responds to Danny's theory. A moment later Alice and Yume enter the cafe.
"The gang's .. about all here," Adonis said as a greeting when her friends came almost consecutively, with the exception of Akumu. "Hey, it just hit me. A while ago didnt Angel's dad kill himself? It was on that article in The Enter or something," Adonis remarks. Suddenly Danny's theory didn't seem so unbelievable. -
“Yeah, he did.” Danny said. “He was a rich guy that had it all, why would he have done that? I mean yeah, he could’ve been depressed and not say anything, but still.” Danny picked an empty clean table and motioned for his friends to it.

Alice walked to the table and said "Depression sometimes works that way. And some people just can't cope with it sometimes. It's not a good solution, but it does sadly happen. Best to just treasure the memories."

Yume nodded in agreement as he followed Alice to table, looking around as he sat
