Avalon said "On the contrary, you are making it slightly better. And you're right, Sin can't hurt me and I shouldn't be afraid. But I don't know what causes them to switch so it's better just to be careful. I learned that from my mom."
-
Gineye nodded slightly at Sins words "tjats fine" he said gently as he looked around for threats
-
Sin starts to doze off snuggled into Gineye like the harmless little bean that they are, the amulet on their neck resting on their little heart.
Aw
drawing sleeping sin -
Arwyn slowed down as she reached the clearing. In the distance, in the middle of the clearing, she could see a looming figure. It was hard to tell what creature it was in the nighttime, but it seemed to be sleeping.. This spot was taken. Arwyn couldn't decide whether they should attempt to go around it or wake it up, which could possibly lead to a fight. She signaled for the group to stop.
"Your mom's very smart, though maybe that's something that can be avoided if you simply talked to Sin and asked them," Finn said, right before they reached the path. He tried to look over Arwyn's shoulder and see why she stopped. "Is that an ogre?" He asked with widened eyes. "I think so," she replied in a whisper. -
Avalon said "Maybe." He then stopped with the rest of the group seeing a figure in the way. He quietly said "Does anyone have a light and a brave enough will to shine a bright light on it to get a better look?"
-
Gineye frowned when the group stopped and carefully set Sin down before forming a heavy crossbow in his hands "i could get behind it and lure it away, or kill it. Your call" he said quietly, looking over at Arwyn

This is when sloth woke up. They yawn tiredly, “...I could put it to sleep. It won’t wake up from that.” They comment casually. “ but I’d need to get my hands on its head.” They say as they keep a hand on gineyes coat.
-
"Wait, everyone, no sudden moves," Arwyn instructed, "We don't know if it's violent or not," Arwyn said. "Do you just assume that all ogres are violent?" Finn asked Arwyn, "That's really ogre-ist of you." Finn said. Arwyn sighed at this.
Finn took off one of his gloves and lit his signature green-tinted fire, intending to follow Avalon's advice. "Finn get back here!" Arwyn whispered as he started taking long strides towards the giant creature. "We're all dead," Arwyn said with a facepalm. She took out three knives, ready to fight if the ogre awakened. "We're gonna try to avoid a fight, we can't waste resources, especially not so early on the quest," Arwyn said to Gineye, "Sin, if you put it to sleep how long would it stay asleep?" Arwyn asked, not knowing that it was now Sloth speaking. -
Avalon whispered "He might not have to. If it really is an ogre, I can put it back to sleep with my hypnotic powers long enough for us to get away. Ogres generally have a weak will for me to do that."
-
Gineye face palmed when Finn walked towards the ogre, wincing as his mask hit against his face before nodding at Arwyns words. He then sighed "well, just in case~" his eyes started glowing light blue through the lenses of his mask as several long swords started to materialize in the air behind him
-
“ For eight hours at least.” They say calmly as they run off after fin, ready to put the ogre into a deep sleep. They sigh as they feel energy coursing their veins.
-
"Wait, wait!" Finn says at Sin, running towards him. He was close to the ogre, and Finn could clearly see that it was indeed and ogre. The creature blinked open his eyes at the brightness of Finn's fire, and sat up. The ogre frowned first at Finn, then looked around at the adventurers, obviously irritated. "Who goes there?" He asked, his voice booming and shaking the trees a bit.
Arwyn walked towards the light so the ogre could see her. "We mean no harm," she started, puutting away her knives. -
Avalon said "Yes. We just got lost and were looking for a place to set up camp. We didn't mean to wake you up, my good friend. We'll happily leave.
-
Gineye let his crossbow vanish but kept the swords that he was wirking on summoning, watching the ogre for any signs of aggression
-
“...I can help you go back to sleep. We are truly sorry...I understand being woken up before I want to be.” They comment sincerely. The signal in their eye clearly the ancient sin of sloth,
