Sin noticed the twitch and backed away. Sin was terrified that everyone’s opinion on them has changed. Sin didn’t realise but their sorrow power had begun to spread.
-
(Not at the halfway point yet)
"Thanks Avalon, but I doubt your words will sway her," Murry says, "She's always been- ah, well.. not always. She's been this way for a long time."
"Don't talk about me as if I'm not here, pipsqueak, or I'll skin that fur of yours. You know nothing about me," Arwyn scoffs. She storms out of the house to go and push the boat into the water and get it prepared for travel, she's done with the conversation.
"Does anyone have anymore questions before you go, about Rita.. about Arwyn perhaps?" Murry asks the rest of the group calmly as he takes a sip of tea. Meanwhile, Finn and Aspen are off to the side. Finn is making him return the skull and all the trinkets he tried to steal. -
(Both me and Avalon misunderstood. Sorry.)
Avalon asked "Are there any drow anywhere along this path, after the lake? I kind of have a history with a certain one." -
"Why is Arwyn so aggressive towards you" Gineye said suddenly, jis voice sounding oddly flat
-
-
Sin quietly went to go wait outside by the boat. Sloth sighed as their host retreated.
“ what a pain.” They murmured. They sat on the ground observing the boat, -
"I don't believe so, but after crossing the waters you will come upon land again in a territory I don't know much about," Murry answers Avalon. He smiles sadly at Gineye, "Arwyn is aggressive towards everyone. Though I suppose she's being particularly hard on me. Maybe some sort of defense tactic? Have you found a chink in her armor, is she trying to harden even more after softening up to you all?" Murry asks thoughtfully.
"If you're talking about Murry, I agree," Arwyn says to Sin. They didn't seem bothered at all with Sin not helping. In fact, Arwyn was more than happy to push the boat on her own, like a way to let off steam. She looked across out at the water and shivered, remembering the horrors she had seen on them, remembered a boy with soft pink hair. After all of these years, Rita assigned her a new team like the old one could just be replaced or forgotten. She had to admit that she kind of liked the new team at first, but never would she allow her wall to break that easily.
Aspen had followed Sin and now he leaned on them. "Y'all are so boring, can't steal a thing in this group," He proclaims. -
(Can that territory be Dorvakin's from my prequal, I'd love to have him here.)
Avalon said "I don't know. I think the deeper we dig, the more she fills up to prevent us from knowing anything." -
Gineye just nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer before he headed out to the others
-
Sloth growled as a familiar crow landed near them. They hissed at it but it simply drew closer. They looked ready to bite its head off.
-
(Sure, why not :D)
"What a good analogy, Avalon! I agree," Murry says. He turns to Finn. "I actually have a warning for you both, since you two seem to be the most sensible.. no offense to your teammates. Rita told me to recite a prophecy," Murry says ominously. Finn's eyes gleam curiously.
Arwyn hopped onto the boat, pulled up the anchor. "One good push and we're off. Someone go get Finn and Avalon," she said boredly, not letting her emotions show. The boat really was exactly like the last one, Arwyn was beginning to quiver just standing on it.
Aspen kicked at the crow that was by Sin. "Back off crow, no one bothers them- no one but me," Aspen says with a haughty laugh. "Ease up, kid," Aspen says to Sin. -
Avalon asked "What prophecy is that? Is it a bad one or possibly a good one?"
-
Gineye stood near Awryn, still staying quiet as he kept an eye on her
