“ I was doing so well, most everyone is so lovely but I bet Chloe told marinette I was lying about everything I had done, I wasn’t. I...I just want to be friends with everyone. Chloe pushed me in the mud when I first met her but I still try to be her friend.” Lila said voice faltering.

Jessie patted Lila's shoulder and said "Unfortunately, you can't be friends with everyone. Some people just may not like you for whatever reason. You just got to find a good friend and it will usually be enough."

Lila smiled brightly at him “ would you like to hang out after school? My treat.” She asked him softly. “ I’ve asked a couple of our classmates, it’s a cafe I’ve had my eye on for a while, it’s nextdolr to Marinettes bakery, almost everyone is going.” She said sweetly

“ wait, Lila did you invite Chloe?” Max asked seeing Chloe and Sabrina sitting at a table.
“ no, maybe she found out?” Lila sighed. Marinette saw them
“ h hey guys! Coming to the bakery!” She said.
“ maybe afterwards Marinette, were tryin* out the cafe today, Lila’s treat.” Adrian smiled.
“ n no you don’t want to go in there!”
“ of course we do silly.” Lila said before pushing open the door.
Inside waiting tables was Alison, in a very pastel uniform.
The entire class went silent.
Chloe glared ta the,
“ what are YOU all staring at?” She hissed standin* in front of Alison.
“ a Alison you work here?” Lila said sounding shocked. “ I never would have guessed.”

Jessie was a little late coming to the cafe. He came up with his 6 year old brother Archie and saw everyone staring in the door. He said "Hey guys. What are you all staring at?"

“ Alison apparently works here and Chloe has decided we don’t deserve t9 be here.” Lila said quietly,
“ well, go away.” Chloe said not hearing Lila, Alix instead sat down.
Alison walked over to take her order,
“ what’s a unicorn milkshake?” She asked confused alison’s Expression softened as she realised Alix was picking the most expensive item on purpose. She started to explain. -
Jessie said "Oh, how interesting. Well, I hope no one minds that I brought my little brother. I had to pick him up from kindergarten and he kept begging me to bring him. Say hi, Archie." "Hi, Archie." he said.

Another waitress took everyone elses orders.
Chloe actually, recommended everyone something they would like. As if she was a regular at the cafe. -
Jessie had just ordered some tea and a sandwich. Archie had a little difficulty reading the menu but he eventually got it.

Alison brought out a unicorn milkshake for Archie. “ on the house, someone wanted to make sure your little brother got to try it. Because someone adores children. Alya’s little sister shot one two because of that someone.” ALison snorted.
Nobody realised she was talking about Chloe.
Alison served the food before taking her lunch break and having the soup and sandwich deal. -
Jessie rubbed Archie's head and said "Would you look at that, bro? Someone's really looking out for you." Archie smiled and said "I wish I could say thank you." He tried the shake and absolutely loved it.

Alison smiled “ you can , she’s the girl in the yellow sitting over there, I’ll tlel her yo said thanks.” ALison promised.
“ it’s a good shake, it’s the mermaid shake, usually I’d have recommended the unicorn shake, but it’s super sugary for children, the mermaid shakes also way prettier for younger children with its more ocean like colours?” -
Archie said "Okay." Jessie just kept eating. Looking around the store, he saw a lot of different pastel decorations. He rather liked it and began to wonder how exactly they made it all.
